Welcome to e-SchoolBase. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the e-SchoolBase website and management system (“Platform”). By accessing, registering for, or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account on behalf of a school, educational institution, or organization (“Institution”), you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to bind the Institution to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the e-SchoolBase Platform.
2. Scope of Services
e-SchoolBase provides a cloud-based digital examination and academic management platform, which may include, but is not limited to:
- Creation, scheduling, and administration of examinations
- Question bank management and automated evaluation tools
- Generation, storage, and distribution of digital report cards
- Secure portals for students, parents, teachers, and administrators
- Academic communication and notification tools
The availability of specific features may vary depending on the subscription plan selected by the Institution.
3. User Accounts and Security
3.1 Account Responsibility
The Institution is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials for all administrators, staff, students, and parents.
3.2 Authorized Use
Access to the Platform is restricted to authorized users associated with the Institution. The Institution shall ensure that access rights are appropriately assigned, managed, and revoked.
3.3 Account Activity
The Institution is responsible for all activities conducted through its account, whether authorized or unauthorized, except where such activity results directly from a security breach solely attributable to e-SchoolBase.
4. Data Ownership, Accuracy, and Backup
4.1 Data Ownership
All academic data, student records, examination results, and institutional content uploaded to the Platform remain the sole property of the Institution. e-SchoolBase does not claim ownership over such data.
4.2 Data Accuracy
While e-SchoolBase provides tools for calculation, management, and processing of academic data, the Institution remains solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and correctness of all data entered.
e-SchoolBase shall not be liable for any errors, discrepancies, or consequences arising from incorrect or incomplete data entry by the Institution or its users.
4.3 Data Backup
e-SchoolBase performs routine system backups as part of its operational processes. However, Institutions are strongly advised to maintain independent backups of all critical academic and administrative data.
5. Prohibited Use
Users agree not to, directly or indirectly:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, unauthorized, or fraudulent purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, databases, or networks
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or disrupt the Platform or its security mechanisms
- Upload, transmit, or store content that is defamatory, offensive, harmful, or in violation of applicable privacy or data protection laws
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of access without prior notice.
6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Cancellation
6.1 Fees
Subscription fees are charged in accordance with the agreed pricing model and billing cycle applicable to the selected subscription plan.
6.2 Cancellation
Institutions may cancel their subscription at any time without prior notice. Cancellation shall take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise specified in the applicable subscription plan or a written agreement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, e-SchoolBase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or service interruptions during examination periods, arising out of or related to the use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
8. Service Availability
e-SchoolBase aims to maintain 99.9% service availability, excluding scheduled maintenance and circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Planned maintenance that may impact service availability during critical academic or examination periods will be communicated in advance whenever reasonably possible.
9. Modifications to Terms
e-SchoolBase reserves the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The parties agree that all disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the e-SchoolBase Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located at Bikaner, Rajasthan, India.
11. Use of Aggregated Platform Data
The Institution acknowledges and agrees that e-SchoolBase may collect, generate, and use aggregated, anonymized, and non-identifiable data derived from Platform usage for lawful purposes, including analytics, benchmarking, service improvement, and generation of generalized academic insights.
Such data shall not identify the Institution or any individual user and shall not include personal, sensitive, or confidential information, in accordance with applicable Indian information technology and data protection laws.
