What this policy covers
This policy describes how e-SchoolBase, a product of OriginSphere, handles information collected through this website and through the e-SchoolBase application.
It covers information you give us directly, such as when you submit an enquiry form, and information a school stores in the application, such as student and staff records.
Information we collect
From this website: the name, school name, role, email address, phone number and message you submit through our contact form.
From the application: the academic records a school chooses to store, including student details, attendance, examination results and staff records. This data belongs to the school that entered it.
How we use information
Enquiry details are used to respond to your question and to discuss whether the product suits your school. We do not sell this information.
School data stored in the application is processed only to provide the service to that school, and is not used for any other purpose without that school's agreement.
Data security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encrypted connections. Access within a school is governed by the roles that school assigns to its own staff.
The specific hosting provider, data-centre location and any security certifications will be documented here once finalised.
Data retention
Enquiry data is retained while it remains relevant to an active conversation or existing relationship, and is deleted or anonymised thereafter.
School data is retained for the duration of the subscription and handled according to the agreement with that school on termination.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete it, subject to any record-keeping obligations that apply.
