Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your school's use of e-SchoolBase, a product of OriginSphere, and your use of this website.

By registering for an account or using the application, a school agrees to these terms on behalf of the staff it grants access to. If you do not agree, do not use e-SchoolBase.

Using the service

e-SchoolBase is provided to help a school manage admissions, attendance, examinations and related academic records for its own students and staff.

The service is provided as described on this website. Features available to a given school depend on the plan that school has subscribed to.

Accounts and access

A school administrator creates accounts for staff and assigns each person a role that determines what they can see and do inside the application.

The school is responsible for keeping its own staff's login credentials secure and for the actions taken under those accounts.

Your school's data

Data entered into the application — student records, attendance, marks and similar academic information — belongs to the school that entered it.

e-SchoolBase processes this data to provide the service and does not use it for any other purpose without the school's agreement. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

On request, and subject to the terms of the subscription agreement, a school may export its data or ask for it to be deleted at the end of a subscription.

Subscription and payment

Plans and indicative pricing are described on our pricing page. Final pricing for a given school is confirmed before that school subscribes.

Payment terms, billing cycles and renewal details will be set out here once finalised, and in any order confirmation or agreement provided to the school.

The referral programme

Schools and individuals who share a referral link may earn a reward when a referred school subscribes, as described on our pricing page.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use e-SchoolBase to store or process data you are not authorised to hold, to attempt to access another school's data, or to interfere with the operation of the service.

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe an account is being used in a way that risks the security or integrity of the service or another school's data.

Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available and will give notice of planned maintenance where practical. Support channels and response targets vary by plan, as described on our pricing page.

Limitation of liability

e-SchoolBase is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, OriginSphere is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

Specific liability caps and warranty terms will be set out here once this document has been through legal review.

Ending your subscription

A school may cancel its subscription in line with the notice period agreed at signup. We may suspend or end a subscription for material breach of these terms.

On termination, a school may request an export of its data within the window described in the subscription agreement, after which it may be deleted.
